Follow these steps to install LoggerPro

  1. Change your privacy settings: Click on the Apple icon (top left of your screen) > System Preferences > click on the Security and Privacy icon.
    1. Step 1: Click the lock icon on the bottom left and type your password in the pop-up box.
    2. Step 2: Under “Allow apps downloaded from”: click Anywhere.

  2. Find LoggerPro and drag to your desktop: Open Finder, on far left column find the Shared category and click on All. Click on GPS6 > Public > Science > LoggerPro > Mac. Drag the two LoggerPro.dmg files to your desktop. It will take a few minutes for the files to load on your desktop.  Note: If you can’t find GPS6, type the command-K keys at the same time.   3. Install LoggerPro: On your desktop, double-click the first file LoggerPro3_8_4.dmg. Type the password Property, and click Ok.Screen_Shot_2015-02-11_at_3_22_26_PM
    1. Double click the Yellow Box Install Logger Pro.mpkgScreen Shot 2015-02-11 at 3.27.06 PM
    2. This package will run a program to determine if the software can be installed: click Continue
    3. Welcome to the installer: click Continue
    4. LoggerPro release notes: click Continue
    5. Software license agreement: click Continue
    6. Agree to the terms: click Agree
    7. Standard install on “Mac HD” click Install
    8. Type your password and click Install Software
    9. The installation was successful: click Close.  Close the window with the Yellow box installer.
  4. Install the LoggerPro update. Double click the LoggerPro3_8_5_1_Update.dmg and follow instructions 1-9 above.
  5. Open LaunchPad or your Applications folder, and drag the LoggerPro icon to your dock. It is now ready to use.Screen Shot 2015-02-11 at 3.36.05 PM
  6. Drag all the LoggerPro and update icons to the trash.
  7. Change your privacy settings back to Mac App Store and identified developers : Click on the Apple icon (top left of your screen) > System Preferences > click on the Security and Privacy icon.
    1. Step 1: Click the Lock icon on the bottom left and type your password in the pop-up box (unless still unlocked)
    2. Step 2: Under “Allow apps downloaded from”: click Mac App Store and identified developers.
    3. Close System Preferences.
