Once permission is granted you may open various school calendars on a PC or a Mac following the instructions below.

How to access a shared calendar on a PC with Outlook 2013

  1. Within Outlook, Click on Calendar.
  2. Next, click the Home tab.
  3. In the Manage Calendars area, click Open Calendar.
  4. Select Open Shared Calendar… from within the drop-down menu.
  5. Click Name…
  6. Under Address Book select Global Address List
  7. In the Search field, type the name of the calendar you want to open or edit.
  8. Select the calendar and click OK, then OK again.

 

 How to access a shared calendar on a Mac (Outlook for Mac 2011)

  1. Within Outlook, Click on Calendar.
  2. Next, click the Home tab.
  3. Click on Open Calendar.

  5. Type the name of the calendar you wish to add.
  6. Select the calendar you want and click OK, then OK again.
  7.  If you get a pop-up with “Outlook was redirected to the server…”, select the “Always use my response for this server” and click Allow.serverprompt
  8. In the left sidebar, you should have a Shared Calendar section with the calendar you added listed underneath.
  9. Make sure the checkbox to the left of your newly added calendar is checked.

How to access a shared calendar on a Mac (Outlook for Mac 2014)

  1. Within Outlook, Click on Calendar.
  2. Next, make sure the Home tab is selected.
  3. Click on Open Shared Calendar.
  4. In the search box, type the name of the calendar you are looking for.
  5. Select the calendar you want and click Open.
  6. If you get a pop-up with “Outlook was redirected to the server…”, select the “Always use my response for this server” and click Allow.

  7. In the left sidebar, you should have a Shared Calendar section with the calendar you added listed underneath.
  8. Make sure the checkbox to the left of your newly added calendar is checked.
